Our story began about two years ago. We were married later in life and we were ready to start our family. As we were facing not only the age factor but a history of infertility, it did not take long to opt for testing and diagnosis. We began this journey at another local fertility center. It was here that we discovered we both had fertility issues. The manner in which we were given "the facts and solution" as well as our overall impression of the clinic led us to further our search which thankfully brought us to the Center for Reproductive Health.

While his diagnostics did not change the technical facts, we immediately felt Dr. Vasquez's sincere concern and appreciation for our situation. His consultation with us could not have been a better mix of guided information and response to our questions and concerns. In fact, without having to ask, Dr. Vasquez covered many of the questions we had left over from earlier doctor consultations. His intelligence seemed only matched by his ability to empathize, giving us a sense of the wisdom this doctor had to offer. He also was able to recommend additional tests that would give us further insight into our probabilities – which never seemed high enough.

At the time we began the program, we tried to keep a logical or practical approach; however, at each step of this progression, emotions would hang for every next reading, count or result indicator creating a rollercoaster of both hope and dread. Never has any life experience felt so fateful. While no one can eliminate the impact one goes through in this process, the CRH staff was always on the same page with us. We truly felt they were aware of what we were experiencing and both their professional and personal dealings gave us confidence knowing everything that could possibly be done was being done to assure our success.

And success we had! On November 6, 2006 Bailey Arin arrived over five weeks early but nonetheless weighing over six pounds with no pre-term issues. The shots, office visits and ultrasounds have now been replaced by her precious smile which begins our day and has changed our lives forever. She truly is our "Miracle Baby"!
