While hysterectomy surgery is common, it
is also commonly known to cause physical and psychological problems
that in some cases can not be cured after the procedure. In the
course of the surgery, in approximately 40% of the times, the
ovaries are removed. The organs removed are vitally important
to the reproductive system and there has to be strong evidence to
support the need of removing them.
Thousands of women
have hysterectomies for fibroids and benign gynecologic problems
without knowing that there are alternative solutions. CRH uses
innovative Laparoscopy (also known as Endoscopy) procedures which
give women relief without the pain, long-term recovery, and side
effects commonly found in conventional surgical methods. Laparoscopy
can treat fibroids, endometriosis and uterine, tubal and ovarian
problems.
CRH provides Endoscopy or Laparoscopy
which is an outpatient and non-invasive surgical procedure. Only a
small incision is required for the laparoscope to visualize the
pelvic organs. Smaller incisions are made to perform the
actual surgical procedure. This outpatient alternative can be
used for endometriosis, myomectomies, ovarian cystectomies and
benign gynecologic problems.
