What is A.R.T? Assisted Reproductive Technology

Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ARTs) include those infertility
treatments in which both eggs and sperm are handled in the laboratory
for the purpose of improving fertilization. These ARTs include In
Vitro Fertilization and related procedures. Physicians have been
treating patients with ARTs for more than twenty years to help couples
overcome their infertility. Perhaps in no other specialty of medicine
has understanding of normal Cell Biology advanced so quickly and
raised so many questions as in the field of ART. In just two decades,
we have seen the initiation, development, and general acceptance of
ARTs that have enabled us to help couples achieve a pregnancy that
they never thought was within their reach.
Advanced Facility Makes It Easy and Convenient
The Assisted Reproductive Technology
Program at CRH has been formulated on the basis of the most advanced
scientific techniques currently available and with the recognition
that our outcome oriented approach should lead to outstanding success
rates. Our goal is to develop the most successful ART treatment plan
for each individual patient. The Center provides a centralized office
environment for all aspects of the monitoring phase of the cycle
including the availability of ultrasound monitoring, laboratory blood
drawing facilities and endocrine monitoring of follicular development.
In this integrated setting, patients receive all testing and
medications on-site to ensure their privacy and for their convenience.
